Jennifer is currently accepting new clients for individual psychotherapy and EMDR intensives in New Orleans and via telehealth across Louisiana. Concierge transition support is limited to a small number of families per semester. The best way to find out about current availability is to submit a consultation request. consultation request.
Yes. Individual psychotherapy is available in-person at Jennifer's New Orleans office or virtually via telehealth for Louisiana residents. EMDR intensives and concierge transition support are also available in both formats where appropriate.
Individual Therapy
Jennifer works with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, attachment wounds, and emotional overwhelm. She also works with clients on life transitions and periods of uncertainty, identity development, emotion regulation, shame resilience, relationship dynamics, and patterns rooted in early childhood experiences.
Many of her clients are outwardly capable and functioning well, while internally feeling unsteady, disconnected, or burdened by patterns that no longer serve them.
Jennifer's approach is integrative and draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR, all within a person-centered, trauma-informed, relational framework. Mind-body integration and nervous system awareness are also woven into the work. She selects and combines approaches based on what each individual client needs.
Individual therapy sessions are 55 minutes. Most clients start with weekly sessions, particularly in the early stages of treatment. Frequency can shift to biweekly as the work develops. The cadence is always discussed collaboratively and adjusted based on your needs and goals.
Clients typically develop deeper self-understanding, stronger capacity to stay present with themselves, improved emotional regulation, and healthier relationships with others and their own inner world. The work aims to move clients from feeling reactive and overwhelmed toward feeling grounded, anchored, and more capable of navigating life's challenges.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Jennifer's approach emphasizes understanding your internal experience and hard-wired patterns, and shifting away from what is no longer serving you.
Yes. Individual therapy can stand alone or be integrated with EMDR intensives when appropriate. Jennifer discusses what combination of services makes sense for each client during the consultation and as the work develops.
EMDR INTENSIVES
An EMDR Intensive is a longer, concentrated therapy experience designed to help you process trauma or specific issues more efficiently than weekly therapy. Rather than spreading the work across many weekly sessions, an intensive blocks together extended time to allow for deeper, more continuous processing with less interruption and greater momentum.
Where weekly therapy parcels work into 55-minute increments, an intensive allows the reprocessing cycle to run its course without week-long gaps in between.

EMDR Intensives are well-suited for individuals who have experienced single-incident trauma, those with complex trauma who need focused momentum, clients who have reached a plateau in weekly therapy, and clients with limited time or emotional capacity for ongoing weekly sessions. The initial consultation determines readiness and fit before any intensive work begins.
The process has three phases. First, a 60-minute initial intake ($180) to determine readiness and fit. Second, a preparation and assessment phase ($550) to establish safety, build resources, and map the treatment targets. Third, EMDR processing conducted in 3-hour blocks at $675 per block. Blocks are scheduled based on client needs and readiness.
Nothing moves into processing before the groundwork is properly laid. Jennifer does not rush this phase.
Yes. Jennifer is EMDRIA certified, which represents advanced specialization in EMDR therapy through the EMDR International Association. This credential reflects extensive clinical experience, advanced consultation, and continued dedication to excellence in trauma treatment. It goes beyond basic EMDR training.
Concierge College Transition PROGRAM
The fall semester package includes: a 45-minute initial family consultation ($100, applicable toward the package); two virtual preparatory sessions during the summer before arrival; up to 20 individual 55-minute sessions from August through December; up to 3 parent and family consultation meetings throughout the semester; email and text support between sessions for continuity; and care coordination with local providers, previous therapists, and university and community resources as appropriate.
The package investment is $6,000. Payment plans available.
This service is designed for college freshmen navigating the transition to university life, particularly in New Orleans. It is a strong fit for students relocating to a new city, young adults with a history of depression, anxiety, stress, or perfectionism, students who have benefitted from therapy or support in the past, and families seeking proactive peace-of-mind support during a major developmental shift.
The student is the client, and their sessions are confidential. Jennifer does not share session content with parents. The service includes up to 3 scheduled parent consultation meetings throughout the semester, which are separate from the student's sessions and focused on how families can best support their student from a distance without crossing into unhelpful territory.
The approach balances student autonomy with family involvement and is deliberately relational, boundaried, and developmentally appropriate.
This service is intentionally limited to a small number of families per semester to ensure depth and responsiveness. Availability is confirmed during the initial family consultation. Families are encouraged to reach out early in the summer to discuss the upcoming fall semester.
